You were so right. Now that OnlyFans announced they're banning explicit content, tons of fans are hoping the women on it transition into escorting.

The problem with modern feminism is that they focus so hard on making women equal to men that they ignore everything which is different about our realities. If a man enters porn, he will never face as much vitriol and hatred that a woman will. Men that watch porn don't want to remember the woman, they want an object to use and put away- that's just the way it is. Young women are being conned into taking this deal. It's a bad deal.

If you're a young woman reading this, please ask yourself: Is $50 from a scrote worth your dignity?

It's really interesting seeing men in these comments section shitting on the very same markets they create. Women wouldn't be doing sex work if the demand wasn't so damn high. But these guys stay preaching in women's spaces and never in mens. I wonder why that is "The old one" and "John doe." The names are even condescending considering the majority older men who have created and maintain this market are called Johns.

If you're a man, take your ass back to the manosphere caves you crawled from and tell your bros to stop asking for ass pics. But y'all are too weak to challenge other men.

Would love to read Lucrative Careers in Tech for Every type of Woman. Especially if it includes strategies on how to deal with tech men in the workplace (dumping their work on you, stealing your ideas, etc).

They say the truth is bitter and truly it is. After all the glamour, when it all comes to an end, loneliness follows and rejection. Nice write up. Use to think I was the only sane person that wonders what will happen 10 - 20 years from now to all who participated in this as a means to validate their beauty. I just hope it's never too late for this awareness.

so wonderful! thank you for sharing. i didn’t hear about beyoncé talking about onlyfans but any kind of sex work is gross and so degrading. we can tell young women all we want it’s empowering but at the end of the day it is demoralizing to do something sexual and loving for a stranger you don’t love, like, or even hate. and these women don’t even have a lot of emotional maturity so it also screws up their relationship with sex, like mia khalifa says, porn screws up sexual relationships. i’ll never make an onlyfans because i have been exposed to sex work and i know it’s just horrible and hopefully in the future no woman will ever feel like she *has* to turn that way. willingly do so, if she’s into it? i suppose. but feel like it is the most financially easy and viable choice? hopefully that trend dies. thanks for sharing, for women everywhere! rise, ladies, rise!

While I appreciate this article (in 2023!), I am perplexed as to why a tabloid (New York Post) would be used as a source.

I've wondered about this too. However, I've recently come across two young OnlyFans creators who seem to also be building great careers. One is studying computer science and has interned at Facebook. The other graduated from Wharton and had an investment banking internship under her belt. I can only hope they continue building their careers outside of sex work so that they have options to leave.

I've also read articles written by an MIT-educated programmer who decided to moonlight as a stripper and publicly share her experience. I'm hoping that young people are influencing companies to be more open-minded about employing former sex workers. That said, I would never advise any woman to enter the sex industry, one of the most dangerous and misogynistic fields in existence.
