You Are Your Own Best Prophet

Time for delusional, unrelenting self-belief.

I have a vision board. During a car ride, a friend told me that vision boards worked. She said almost everything that she had put on there came true, in miraculous ways. I was very apprehensive due to how retarded most new-age ideas are. But I was in a difficult place. It was just some cute picture on a Pinterest board. Why not try?

Let me not waste your time. Not all the things in the Pinterest board came true (at least not yet). But what it allowed me to do was to fine-tune my vision. To distill my desires down to their essence. To become so granular with the things that I wanted in my life. To draw a fine thread through the desires of mine that have remained constant throughout the years. My Pinterest board allowed me to visualize what a perfect future would look like. When I saw that Mediterranean home with the perfectly manicured lawn and outdoor space for my daughters to run around, I became energized to make it happen. My Pinterest board allowed me to see my future with greater clarity. Instead of petitioning God with a subtle apprehension that I was unworthy of those blessings, I would demand, testify, and command into existence.
